This dummy needs help

I'm putting a Panasonic head unit in my '02 which came with bose. I got the wiring harness hooked up and all that, but there was an extra harness on the stock unit. It had 3 while the aftermarket one had 2. It appears that the third is for the amp. I can't get ANY sound to come out. Is it because I don't have that third one hooked up? How am I going to convert the RCAs coming out of the head unit to the regular speaker wire that goes into the harness??

Wiring harness is the same from 95's to 2005.

There are 3 harness's you are correct and I take it your not using the PAC or the Scosch adapter.

The reason why your not getting sound is your not powering your amps. IE your wires arent hooked up correctly . Yes match up all wires , everything should match up.

All the wires in the two harnesses going into the aftermarket HU are connected correctly. There is an extra harness with what appears to be amp ground and remote. I am going to connect the amp remote and ground, but there are two more wires, red and red with black tracer on that harness. What do I do with those???

Are you sure you have the right harness? I just checked a spare harness I have lieing around and it has one red and the only wire that describes what you are stating is a negative dimmer line (orange black stripe). I would suggest you either ground it off or just cap it.

The standard orange or orange with white stripe should handle your illumination.
