SPL brand?

Has anyone had any experience with these subs and amps? I'm thinkin about gettin a couple of tens, 500 watts max each, and maybe 2 of their amps, one to power each, just to look cool. I know I'm gonna get killed for sayin that but its the real reason

also if I do run 2 amps do I need to uprade to use 0 and 4 gauge wiring or should my 8 and 4 gauge work good enough? The amps will only be 400 watts max each

Heard one setup at a car show once of SPL subs/amp. It was distorting alot and didnt impress me.

By saying '8 and 4 gauge' do you mean you have 2 power wires ran in your car, or 4 gauge to a dist block, or what? Also, the current draw of each amp is what should determine the gauge power wire to use, so that info would help.

4 gauge to the distribution block then 8 gauge to the amps. I'll try to find the current draw of the amps asap
