What to use with the Microvision screen?

hey guys.

I just ordered my screen from redmax and now i need to get a dvd player. Ive been looking at a JVC KD-ADV6160. It looks pretty nice and has some good feature. Plays giga MP3s, dual zones and some other features as well. Ebay sells it for 229 or so and i found it here http://www.sonicelectronix.com/viewi...roogle#reviews for 269.

I was wondering what you all are using with your screen. Also ive seen people have music videos that play. How do you go about making this. Do you need a DVD burner?

Thanks guys

Sean

The Farenheit DVD-27 is only $225 and will aptly serve your purpose. I don't think any DVD players to this date are capable of playing music videos, but I might be wrong.

If all goes well, I am going to be putting a monitor in my 5th gen, but I will likley be running an Eclipse 3031 dvd player off of the aux of my 9833.

To play the music videos, simply d/l them and create a VCD. You may have to convert it and you can the software to do so at Cnet or even on P2P programs such as limewire. If this is what you plan on doing make sure the DVD player you get plays VCD's which most should. Also, you should know that the quality is not the same and although its pretty cool, it wont sound very nice, at least to me it doesnt.

I'm thinking of doing the microvision setup in the future. The jvc is alright if you don't mind when you turn the car off during a song and then get back in and turn it on it starts the song from the beginning. That's too annoying for me, I would go with one of the pioneers (dvh5000 or dvh7000) but they are like $360+. You could go with panasonic with aux in and put the dvd under the seat.

I'm thinking about mounting one of these under my seat, in center console, in glove comp...somewhere. ....looks small and can be mounted at any angle and hey...it's Microvision and if it ends up sucking...it was cheap....This seems to be a good option for me because my HU doesn't have a MP3 player.

What if you had a DEH-860MP (MP3/CD/FM) and you bought a Microvision and you want to play DVDs???

I want to take advantage of the group deal but I don't have a DVD player. Is it wise to get an external DVD player mounted somewhere in the car?
