Idmax12v.3

Does any body have any experience with those subs? I've heard some great things and am thinking bout purchasing possibly 2 of them. Any input? Btw would I be better off with the 2 ohm or 4 ohm version?

great subs, great company..

impedance choice will come down to the amp you are using...

Great subs. As far as the impedance of the coils, it all depends on your choice of amplification. Is your amp 1ohm, 2ohm.... stable.

I'm running one now in 1.3 sealed. I've run the v.1, v.2, and now the v.3 as well as some IDQ's in the past, ID horns and mids, so there's the bias.

I have not listened to some other "contenders" such as AA Avalanche (which some have been saying they have liked better) and others, but I really like this sub from a "musical/SQ" standpoint. They've blended well with the various front stages I've run them with, get loud off of not too much power but can take a lot and really slam if you want to. I'd call it the perfect sub if it hit the bottom actave a little bit harder...some of the low low low notes (I mean the lowest) it does not hit (in sealed 1.3 enclosure) with comfort and authority. Besides that it's the bomb!
