Sub causes rear speakers to distort....

When my sub hits it causes my rear deck speakers to over extend and distort. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem before and what they did to remedy it. Is there some sort of baffle that can be put around the bottom of the speaker or something? Thanks for any help.

just built a box around the rear speakers.. used to happen to me, i guess too much pressure in the trunk. i just made some nice enclosures for them, and drilled it onto the top part of the trunk

its this pad thing you put a few inches behind the magnet and its shaped so that the waves coming from the back of the 6x9, dont bounce back up and putopposite pressure on the speakr.

Speaker baffles can typically be purchased from any reputable shop. I usually keep them in stock anyway.

Don, if you only say the people I work with, one in particular

Believe me, I know I have a lot to learn. And Id much rather be around people with talent, or any common sense at all, rather than what I deal with.
