98 non-bose no longer working

my HU sometimes stops working when there is a CD in (this happens every few months). but it comes back on in a few hours i guess its heat. but this last time it has been out for a week, any suggestions?

happened to me before, it would stop working then work, then stop working then work, then when it stopped again.... it no longer worked
