i think its some m class? i forgot the name of the company [Don probably knows it] neways the setup costs 265k. now they ship the car to california where they custom install everything. now the distributor is located in long island city, he had an audio store in ocala Florida, and Another store in a big city of Florida. They say hes rated as one of the best installers of the country. Now this system is shaped like long rectangles. lets say your sitting in the driver seat, and someone is sitting in the passenger seat, you cant hear there speaker, and they cant hear yours, but you could hear it perfectly. and when the bass hits, everyone could feel it. now this system works with static i believe. o btw there home audio costs about 100k for someone to come and install it into your house.

btw my dealer was showing this to me and was laughing, but they would make a good amount of profit off of it

just thought i would share this, btw ill get the name for u tommorow

A car audio instller in Ocala? Steve Head AKA Audio nutz???

I'd like to see some pics of what you're talking about....

I did hear a "rumor" that Mark Eldridge (I think it was him..if not, one of the other legends/big dogs) has charged over $5k to build a pair of kickpanels

You're not going to come accross many that aren't like newbs talking to someone with his car audio experience....I'm sure nobody walks in there baosting about what a great installer or how much knowhow they have hahaha...or what a great fiberglasser they are

I would actually guess that a lot of his actual customers pretty much know what they're doing, but are also at a level where they've figured out what they want, and have figured out that they realistically can't do it....like me but with more money.... I would guess he does his fair share or cars for real rich people and car/mod/stereo companies who want those ***** out, unreal, money no object installs...

Edit: and get your butt over there! Gosh! Take a listen to his Civic and tell us how it sounds

Edit again...235K still sounds super duper crazy stupid overpriced for any system any human being would ever want in a daily driver? This isn't some one of a kind, custom install for a magazine or something? Really an "upgrade"? I'd really be interested in what is going to happen for that kind of money. When I think of having the money one day to send my car away for a "big time" install, which will really never happen, I'm still talking about maybe 10-15K TOPS on labor from "an elite" installer for what I would call "crazy" custom work and top notch SQ, built to IASCA specs.....and any "normal" person should gasp at that figure.....

Their websites back up! come get some!!!! http://www.teamaudionutz.com/

Sorry, fixed it....

http://www.teamaudionutz.com/ Check out of course photos, but especially "the team"

Are the Mark Levinson systems I know of for car are like upgrades or stereo's stock on nice cars....I've only personally heard one stock Mark Levinson system a few years ago, and I was impressed.

McIntosh makes high end stuff, but I've never heard of them as an install shop or upgrade thing...that would be cool!

Mark Levinson's first car audio system I think was in the newest generation Lexus LS430, I've heard it too, and for a stock stereo system, I was awed

Yeah and please a link about the install you're talking about....I want to see $235k put into a car install...Steve Head or not... For that kind of money, it better come with a vagina built into it or something...

Sorry...did I just say that?

no its 265k!!

they basically take your whole interior apart. the system is shaped in long rectangles, so they have to custom fit it into the panels.

btw they do also have cheaper setups besides that one.
