sub keeps moving

sub keeps moving

this is my sub its small but its more then enough for me. my problem is its allways shifting, at first it didnt bother me that i would have to put it back after a day of driving but yesterday it disconnected on me. whats a good way to keep it in place. thanks

L-brackets would be your best bet. Or line the whole bottom of the box with velcro. But that will only hold during some normal driving. Anything radical, and it'll just move.

L brackets are bought at lowes or home depot. They are called L brackets because they look like L's

Or if you mount it in the driver side rear QP you can drive screwd into the box directy from underneath and it will hold good that way.

Hahaha I used a rag and a shirt to tuck under my sub box to keep it from moving around!

what i did is drilled a small hole in the top of the box and took some strong small wire, almost like chicken wire, and threaded it through the hole and around the bar that opens the trunk. I also put velcro pieces on the bottom of the box on all corners and velcroed it to the carpet. The carpet slides around but its ok, the sub doesnt
