ipod hook up

i have an alpine-9827 headunit. i bought the interface for the ipod. i dont really like it. the only thinki like is that it chargers. the think i hate is that if u wanna find a song i would have to scrol though the headunit and that took forever. if any body has another way of hooking this up to scrol though the ipod instead of the headunit would be great.

Well you could always hook it up to the headphones jack...or buy a FM Modulator. But the way that you have it setup right now has the best quality.

i have the same thing and i love it, what you hve to do is make folders to put all your music on, so instead of having to scroll through all your songs, you scroll through folders to sub folders to songs, just like on a computer, it's MUCH easier
