Anyone have any info/opinions on this? Anything cheaper to hook up an mp3 player directly to my bose system without using a crappy FM modulator or tape adapter? Thanks

 

There cheaper ones out there. But this will get the job done, though. I just did this mod and now have my PSP running through an aux box that's connected to my radio antenna. The quality is decent, but I will be investing in a box that'll connect to the CD player.

 

I don't understand. Is that a thing you plug into another thing and what happens?

 

Actually I think I f'd up posting this. I believe this is a device that converts an auxiliary input to another device. Unfortunatley the 2k maxima GLe that I own does not have an Aux input

Yeah, upgrade your HU and plug into the aux there. Spending $170 on [that] isn't just a bad idea, it's just plain stupid.

What would you recommend I upgrade my HU to? All I care for is 10 mins of news/traffic on the radio in the morning and hooking up my iPod(or mp3 player) to my system.
