Replacement Free Air Sub?

I've been trying to find an aftermarket Free air sub to replace my 8" bose on my 2000 Maxima. I can't seem to find any Free air 8" subs anywhere. Went to circuit city, best buy and mobile one and none of them sells free air. Anyone know where I can get a 8" free air sub that fits perfectly as a replacement?

You'd probably have to look on-line first of all.

Image Dynamics makes a couple decent ones. Check em out.

Keep in mind youll have to deaden the rear deck, and probably make a plate out of mdf to screw the sub into. Screw holes hardly ever match up. Just fyi. What amp are you planning on running?

I have the Image Dynamics ID8 and I'm pretty pleased with it. The sound is pretty clean and the bass is tight and punchy.

I would also recommend the ID8 for this application. I think diamond and a few other companies make a freeair sub or two. ID is the one I have experience with, and it does very well for an 8, does great freeair, and is under 100 bucks.

Yes you should dampen deck, block any air holes, mount to MDF....to get optimal performance.

there are several others that make them, but they are harder to find, online is your best bet.
