Yeah i remember asking you about that in another thread..and it was about an hour after i paid for this . Just curious why don't you like monstercable, and just to make myself sick, what kind of price could you have done on the amp? I still have someother things i'll be trading out as time goes on and i'll definitely be checking with you first

Congrats on the new stuff man, looks good.

I wouldn't be concerned about blowing the ACS with that lil' amp...mine saw 270rms x2 and 330rms x2 respectively at one point or another. Just use common sense and set them up correctly.

I love the flat profile on the Helix's, and I hear they are solid. I just dont like to see mosfets in high end amps- they are used normally to save cost cheaper amps or bass amps(for size). I like to see bipolar transistors, lots of them But I'm sure they designed it well and had to use mosfets for footprint. They sure are pretty as hell.

Yeah i'm not too worried about blowing them... I went with the Helix because I wasn't wanting to spend money on the Brax i really wanted and it was a bit cheaper than the Arc 4150 i was looking at as well. I just installed the Amp and it's running the boston and infinity's and it's SO much better than the POS i had before. Haven't done too much tuning because they're not gonna be in the car too long and i have alot of crap to put in still.

Well a little of both really. And something that will handle alot of power without premature failure. I sold a bunch of stuff on ebay and plan on selling more, so hopefully I can save up enough to have some for a nice set of 2 way comps.

The ALCs are very nice and deliver a surprising amount of midbass. Although may be a bit out of your budget.

Hmm that might be doable... is there anything thats in the range $250-350 that you'd suggest as well? This probably won't be right away, but in the near future. Oh and out of curiosity what would the ARC ACS's have run?

Not in the near future? Id rather not say then with CES being a week or so away. Things change, prices adjust.

about the 3 range.

The Elates are a Beautiful/ amazingly natural sounding set, but the price tag is well above
that mark of the Alumapro/Rainbow hybrids. Ill check on it a bit later though....

THat much huh? I found that the 3 way elates were about 1500 apparently. I asume the 2 way's are cheaper. Guess i have some serious thinking to do here, probably shouldn't drop that much cash at the moment. Let me know what u find though!

Yea but thats close to list, not my cost.

The 9 2W would hit ya bit more than half of the above mentioned price.

Ha I just want to know how much more I NEED to save. I have like... $150ish right now. I've narrowed it down to what I want, aren't you proud?
