new speakers

new speakers

I have a 4 gen se with the bose system but im gettin the whole system removed and new speakers and wire put in.

the question i have is will polk db650's fit in the back, on some websites it says they will and on some it says they wont..when i spoke to the crutchfield rep he said you could if you recess them, do you thing that this would work and if so, can a professional installer complete the task??

oh and btw, i got ma front bose 6.5's + tweeters and my rear 6.5's for sale..shoot me an offer

may want to list the bose in the for sale forum. As well sell them with the amps and and sold mine for 100 (Just clipped the wires about 3 inches up so they could work with it

A standard 6.5 should work in the rear for you with no problem. Worst case you could do a cutout/mdf ring and mount that and then mount the speakers to that to increase if depth is too much. Other than that the only rears ive seen anyone have to modify was the elemental eu700s.

Speakers

Hi - new to this site and new to my '95 Maxima SE. The car is in good condition but the front drivers side speaker is shot - as perhaps are other speakers. The whole thing rattles when it should be rockin'.

I have been told that with the Bose system you can't just go out and buy replacement speakers for these cars so I am interested in buying your speakers.

ok

yeah...you cant just buy any aftermarket speaker to go with your bose deck. i am selling both front component speakers so shoot me a price and we can negotiate a deal..there are others interested and these speakers dont go for cheap..so shoot me a price soon and maybe i can get them 2 u before.

Polk makes quality speaks imo. All my speakers are polk including my sub
