?'s About Amp under front seat (4th gen)

Is this possible?
Has anyone done this?
Any tricks for making this work?
I live in CT, will the floor vents have any effect on the amp from the heat?

I have a JL audio 4300\4 to run the interior speakers. I want to install this in the interior because I want to run to kicker 600/1 amps for my Kicker 12" L5's and mount those on the back of the seat so I can at least us the space in front of the subs

I have an amp mounted underneath each of the front seats and have had no problems with functionability. I removed the front seats and then installed the amp. I faced the audio controls towards the rear for easy adjustment. The one drawback I have is that the floor mat does not have enough room to lay completely flat. It it looks kinda like this ^----- with the hump (front of the mat) butting up against the amps.

youll have no problems. you can also do a false area under the mats for the amps check my soundomain page and theres a pic where i fitted a power 1000 and two power 800s under the seat and in the rear foot area on the passenger side, with no adverse affects.would allow you to easily fit bot amps on one side or you can do one per side and plexi the tops to display :P
