Just bought a Caddy, now starting a system!! need advice on where to run the hi-low

Well i was thinking of running the hi low adapter on the rear speakers, but they are located in the door. On the rear deck there is an 8 inch sub i believe. [its blose] neways it has 4 wires going to the sub. i want to know if i could splice into the 4 subwires and run it to the hi low adapter?

btw im afraid of taking off the panels to run the power wire.. i dont want to break any clips.

im leaving the interiors bose, and im most definately thinking about an Sound splinter RL-P sub since its good for the money.

I just need opinions on an amp that pushes anything around 1k rms thats a good price. It does not matter what ohms it can handle since i will buy the amp first and get the matching sub for it.

btw caddy has big trunk so im going with a 15!

Why are you going to rape your own new car. We've all seen your install skills. Let a professional do it.

guarantee he messes it up. i told the kid to get a 15 and he's like no. he never listens to me unless someone else tells him the same thing. listen to me when i say this...skip the 15 in the caddy. keep it stock for now. don't ghettofy the new caddy kid.

haha man, you guys are relentless, he won't screw up the car right away...give the kid a week...shessh....

anyhow, amp...we need a budget. if you do get the RL-p, it doesn't need assload of power to get loud given its in the proper box.

Ok rich i am going to listen to you. im going to stay stock with the bose for now because i do not want to fawk with the panels and all that crap.. but i am kind of pushy for a system. see if i put a system in it ppl will know it is mine and not my parents lol

neways uhm i tried tuning the bose but it sounds distorted even when the volume is low.. i duno. the sub sounds nice though.

i really would like a system in it. but then i would have to run dam power wires, because i thought the battery was in the trunk.

The only reason im now considering a 15 rich, is because i did not realise how big the trunk is. The trunk is huge!!

i will post pix soon. but RICH and alot of other ppl told me to leave it stock for now

meh, don't listen to Rich, too much protein powedr floating in his system to make him think logically.

those panels can't be THAT hard to remove. i'd make a little drive down south and have Don install it for you. no more spaghetti wires...

i don't see how it'll void the warranty...unless you drill 100000 holes to run ONE wire then yeah....that'll void some warranty...

dude...your goofy *** has a brand new caddy and you want to mess it up. drive it, enjoy it, learn the car, then make a decision. i told you that you need a 15 in that trunk to hear anything you expect from a system. post some pix so we can bleieve you for once.

Hey man, if you decide to leave it stock for a while, at least get some dark tint on it ASAP, that looks good on any car.
