Memphis over rockford. But I would suggest an Arc Audio 2500xxk. Great product, the damping factor is amazing and will allow for great control over the sub. Pearl96max is the man to talk to to get one. Pm him

As to the original question, Im sure I can help you out a bit. Something along the lines of Arc Diamond,DLS,etc would make that sub very happy.

Hey Don, I noticed in the manual for the 4150 that the 1500xxk is rated higher as far as power than the 2100xxk, is that a typo?

Arc > Fosgates

Pearly over there will help ya out

btw, power isn't everything. put some thought into the enclosure as well...since it plays a rather large role on the performance of the sub.

my old setup was a 12" brahma in a 2.5 cu ft ported box, tuned to 28 hz. i had about 480 watts going to it (the sub can take 1600...thermally at least)...and it still got pretty damn loud.

maybe Pearl can even build a box for you.

and don't worry about the capacitor...doesn't really help. upgrading the grounds on your car will be more beneficial.

Ditch the rockford idea man. You'll just be slowing down the inevitable. Get an Arc amp. They will put out the power and make your subs happy. Very happy. Agreed on the cap, not necessary.

I would say they are SLIGHTLY better than RF, Kicker etc. ( The new RF and Kicker stuff anyway)

I would really suggest getting an Arc from Don. You will be happy that you did.
