Pioneer AVX-P8DVD Questions
Pioneer AVX-P8DVD Questions
I was just lookin up this headunit, and it seems to play dvds/cd/MP3 etc etc, and a whole lots of features but mentions nothing about Wattage and what not. So im assumin its just a monitor? So if it plays everything (formats) how do you get the sound to come out. If my interiors are running by an Amp, is that all i need?
Hook it up to an amp. But it is recommended that it be connected to a Pioneer headunit with IP bus control.
"THIS UNIT IS A "SLAVE" AND REQUIRES A HEAD UNIT TO MAKE IT WORK. PIONEER AVXP-8DVD REQUIRES EXTERNAL AMPLIFIERS. THIS UNIT DOES NOT HAVE ANY INTERNAL AMPLIFICATION"

hmm sounds like a plan. is there any other units you'd recommend in the general range of this HU? Im upgrading cause my KVT-911DVD Kenwood doesnt play mp3s, i was lookin at this AVX-P8DVD or the Valor Double DIn.
