Bass **** question

Recently installed my Arc 4150xxk. It's running good and all but I was wondering if there is any advantage/disadvantage to having the bass **** attached. (please spare me the don't use bass boost jargin). I have full control of the sub channel through my head unit of course with the ability to turn it off. With the **** I suppose I could turn it down lower if I wanted to or something of the like but It just doesnt seem necessary to me... any suggestions?

Its definatly not necessary. If ur gains have been properly set with a DMM u should never have any use for it.

Yeah, not necessary at all. I don't have the bass **** installed on my JL amp either.

usually if you want it its a cool option. It adjusts from the output you have the gain set at, so its usually a safe option. To me its a pain switchin, choosing audio, scrolling to sub, then hitting the button. **** makes it alot easier...TOO BAD the ebc's are hard to find...

Inline RBGs are easy to find, I usually have a few here.

Don, my bass **** started working all of a sudden. It comes in handy when you want to turn the bass down quickly.

Well I usually keep the bass as the first audio option when I go into the audio display and I can quickly turn it down w/ my steering wheel remote.

I think typically the bb can adjust the full frequency so you should turn the bass boost all the way down on the amp if it has one. This is what Arc recommends with its bass ****. As far as the gain I'm not too sure. If the **** is just going to be adjusting the gain level then I would put it all the way down.

The **** isnt the same with all amps, some its a bass boost, others its RBG Remote Bass Gain. Simply put it move your gain control from the amp to the cabin. Turning the gain on the amp all the way down will leave nothing to control.

So if its an RBG then when the **** is all the way up it will only go as far up as the gain control is already set? I get it know, thanks for more knowledge sir.
