Holy crap that is terrible. Please remove it asap and leave it empty or get rid of those. Why would you make your rear deck look so bad? AND why would you wanna fck with rear visibility?

Oh and is that in the first post? ENGRISH PLEASE!!

Wow. just wow.

Please remove them as soon as possible and replace with correct sized speakers.

A little birdy told me sound is meant to be reproduced through a circular speaker, not an ovular one. Food for thought about a set of 6x9's that you "really want"

Not to mention, that install gives a WHOLE NEW MEANING to "IB".

5 x 4? There is no such speaker. 6 1/2 is what you need.

why would you ever mount speakers like that they arnt meant for free air :X .But heres how you should do it .Tthis is gonne require a litttle bit of custom work... But ive done it in a bmw you need to cut the metal grill so that the speaker will fit in.

They're still free air when you mount them to the rear deck.

If you really want to keep those 6x9s then you have one more option. Build 2 6x9 spacers out of MDF wood. Screw the spacers to the bottom of the rear deck in the trunk. Then screw the 6x9s to the spacers. All the spacers do is seperate the surround from the deck so that during excursion the 6x9 surround dont come into contact with the rear deck. Everything will be hidden in the trunk.

when it gets hot enough out side ill take out my woofers my amps move all those wires and stick my body in there and start drilling a 6X9 hole. but it just to cold to do any out side work on my car.

I honestly dont think its worth all that work. Round speakers sound better than oval speakers. IMO instead of spending all that time hacking at your maxima, just get the right size speakers and call it a day. You'll thank yourself for not carving out 6x9 holes in your rear deck.

what i meant was the trunk acts like a box for the speakers so it makes the speakers sound a little better. But with it in that THING above the speaker deck its not gonna sound very good.
