It would seem to me that this is possible... However, I haven't actually done it. You may need a specific dash kit that allows DD headunits; I believe I remember seeing a post about someone modifying a Scorsche kit.

not to rob some thunder....but i have been looking around the site and can't post my own post. I am gonna be running two HU's, a panasonic flip up dvd player with a brain under the passenger seat, and a crappy kenwood HU that is just for playing burned cd's...This should fit up like a double din install, no?

Also wondering if i could be pointed in teh right direction of how to install two HU's....i have the Bose system now, see what i need to do to get rid of it, prolly goin with componant sets and work on SQ with the dvd surround and a few tv's before getting any boom in teh rear. Again, any info is greatly appreciated. even just a link i may have over looked.

I am getting this exact thing done this weekend (AVIC D1 double-din navi screen). You will need the GXE center vent. http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...de=68750-VENTC

I will post pics once it is installed. Also here is a write-up. http://www.tomz.org/avictut/

You don't wire up two h/u's together to the same speakers, its as simple as that. Run a din-size dvd player in the dash on the aux of the flip out of you really want, but thats a waste too, just get one unit that does everything you want. And you cannot make a thread because you are a newb. Read the stickies and all the info, search, then make 15 posts in other threads trying to help, then you can make your own thread. You will get owned for making useless threads that have been posted 100 times elsewhere.
