Need help with the haed unit.

I want to buy some time this week a new head unit. Now I always had pioneer cd players in my car. Which PIONEER model (single cd in dash) up to $150 dollars would you reccomend to me to buy that will work perfect with the stock BOSE speakers. Any particular model you have or you know it is good thank you. I am checking EbAy on these.

The DEH-P3700MP retails at 150 here at Circuit City, its whats in my dads camry, and works fine...cd/mp3/sat radio ready/etc. Any deck will work with Bose, its just a matter of how you wire it up. See my post on page 2 of Car Audio FAQ sticky for details on this.

ok, not the best place to ask this question, but i can't make a thread.

as ridiculous as this may sound. Anyone know how to unscrew the factory head unit screws out of the housing? those things are like cemented in there. i tried penetrating oil, but no dice. i'm afraid of stripping the screws if i use too much force and such. any ideas?

I used my electric screwdriver with the largest tip that would fit inside the screws snuggly. I used it like a regular screwdriver (no power). I wanted to use it because it has a large handle that allowed me to get a solid enough grip to brake them loose.

Got my 18v drill, put it on the highest torque setting, put my weight into the drill and pulled the trigger.

The screws came out with a pop.
