The subject pretty much says it. The tape player in my 96 SE's bose unit won't load my tape (actually a tape adapter for my ipod). It just springs the tape in and out. I want my music and I don't want to burn CD's or buy an iTrip (or any similar radio transmitter). Anyone with any clues as to what may be causing it???

edit: Oh yeah, I've also tried other tapes and tape adapters and the same problem occurs.

 

Possibly age?

 

Time for a new unit.
