Guess you Really dont do your research before jumping in huh? Theres a comparison with damn MS6s on CA, then of course the post from JLaine about how chitty Chad and his business is. Aside from that Rainbow has certainly proven themseleves in this industry and have taken multiple awards. Any backup from AA on that? I think not...

It WOULD also be nice if they gave some specs for the mids instead of "like nothing else out there" Hell Pyramid is also like nothing else out there, doesnt make em great though...

I've read all the threads...Don c'mon now linking car audio threads is like having Avi speak english....it's just not right. I might give Chad a call about the forum thing. although I would not be surprised if he wants out of that forum anyway. rainbows vs. AA is not a fair comparison...I'd take Rainbows, but I like having decent audio that nobody else has too.

I understand Rich, but not even for the AA Vs Rainbow part. It can be AA Vs anyone. Doesnt even have to be a product that I carry, just dont wanna see Gordo get screwed in the end being hes such a big AA fan. They do make some Great points over there though....

well i only heard about ascendant's stuff when i heard their sub, and back then....chad was pretty helpful and what not on the forums. so i'm hoping all this hype won't be bad when their component comes out (you do have a point though about their mids...specs would help). that 199 preorder pricing is very tempting...

decisions decisions...

and thanks Don for 'watching my back'...

Oh I know but I mean at least it's a vifa tweet which is tried and true...and he knows I'll buy the set for $50 shipped if he does not like them. all this car audio talk is making me wanna sell my CDT's and move up to the AA's or some rainbows.

the preorder is the only price id pay fo the set. also he is releasing specs this week and thus extended the "preoder gayness" until a week or 2 after the specs are shown so people can make a more informed decision. either way there is a 30 day guaranteee I believe on the website...

Return Policy

Ascendant Audio has a 30 day satisfaction guarantee from the day of purchase. All unopened/unused products returned within this 30 day period will receive a full refund of the purchase price, but not including shipping. All used products will be subject to a 25 percent re-stocking fee, and may further be subject to a reduction in refund depending on the product's condition due to appearance, wear, and usage. This amount is to be determined solely at the discretion of Ascendant Audio. Products must be returned in original packaging. If products are returned in other packaging, there will be a further reduction in the refund. Shipping costs will NOT be reimbursed for any returned product under any circumstance.

for $200 they may be worth a shot, I just like things to have a bit of feedback first. Although if they do flop, theyll be tough to sell, especially since everyone knows the price. Or they could be good and even worth the $300 pricetag. Nobody really does know.

Also I usually like real life reviews/info rather than paper.

Basically you could return it less $50 if used and the return shipping plus original shipping so roughly ~75.... what a lame deal.

right..so chances are it is the exat same tweet. so $60 for tweets leaves $140 for 2 mids and 2 xovers...not a bad deal I still think. I honestly have no clue how much stuff is at wholesale but using the figures perhaps $50 a mid and $20 per xover? this inclues "shipping" from the buildhouse of course.

ah definately...you can put a lot of crap on paper, but when it comes down to actual performance...it can be totally different.

the return policy is just a BS policy. I guarantee if you use them and you call and say why you do not like them...you will be charged a marginal fee and just pay to ship them back.
