pics of sound deadening install?

I'm going to be installing some fatmat this weekend in my trunk. Was wondering if anyone had some pics of their sound deadener installed so I could see what all they did. I have a feeling I'm going to be covering anything and everything I can. lol. I'll prolly do the sides with two layers because the bottom will have 1/2 particle board and that should cut some of the sound also. I'm doing the trunk and rear deck this weekend provided the weather isn't too bad. Any hints that will help out would be much appreciated, and I've read the sticky up top, just not that much info as far as installing. I have a roller and a blow dryer.... how did you know where to poke the holes for the clips and things? thanks

Here's a picture of my rear deck finished in my 4th gen (inside the trunk, not inside the cabin):

I used a hairy dryer and an extremely large marker as a roller. As far as knowing where to cut holes and stuff, take LOTS of measurements ahead of time. For example, since my deadening was in big sheets, I actually test fitted it many many times before taking the backing off and actually installing it. See the trunk light? All it took for that was seeing how I was going to place a sheet in that area, pushing it up against the light a little to create a depression, marking it with a marker, then cutting a hole out in that spot of the sheet before installing it. Easy as that.

i would have to say go with it in patches makes it easier to find the exact area Do as large an area as practical and go for broke. Also use plexi to seal off the sections of your door and youll be alright..

You should check out Dan aka Metal Maxima's interior makeover thread. He had LOTS of pics of his entire sound deadening process. Just search in his profile for threads he's started.

Oh, and I would NOT recommend installing the deadener until July/August unless the idea of heatgunning every strip sounds appealing to you.

I guess I'll be using a heat gun on the rear deck, and then I'll save the rest of it until this summer, I just can't stand the rear deck rattling anymore.... thanks for all you've done, although everytime I read a thread I end up losing money.....lol thanks for the awesome write-ups and pics though.
