Sounds like alot of speaker for the money...but then again the Dayton RS Autosound woofers are proven and in the same ballpark pricewise and add the edge of an aluminum cone. Dont think I've ever heard a phase plug
poly-coned driver, ever...

Looks like a nice speaker. Prolly nothing I'd end up with, but I'm all for there being as many good, cheap options as possible out there. As Manny said, I just can't see the Dayton RS being beat for the money. I really enjoyed mine, and they're CHEAP.

So are dual 6.5's gonna be the next big thing on the org? Sounds like fun!

i want 8's but if i dont find something i like, dual 6.5's here i come! The reason i'd go with these over the daytons is more displacement. they arent playing oveer 150ish.

Remember, dual 6's is a lot more work in a max as compared to 8's...but sounds awesome! Can't wait to see it.

I'm willing to pay the $199 now but I'd need to sell my beloved CDT's.

stevie- You're right, the 8's just drop in for the most part. with the dual 6.5's i'll have to modify the door panel. for $35 a piece, these are definitely hot.

I agree, they aren't rainbows. I wouldn't get the comp set without hearing reviews. But i just need some lower midbass displacement(50-150). All of my beloved rock music needs strong midbass.
