I really do like the Parrot 3200 color. It makes a nice retrofit with this plug and play Nissan Bose to Parrot harness adapter: http://members.***.net/quickconnect
Only thing I don't like is the vent mount Parrot gives you for the little color LCD controller. Where have others installed their Parrot LCD?

I checked out your link and I am very interested in the Parrot. I called the number on the web page and they don't sell direct, I called the local shop they gave me and the whole thing came up to $429.00 installed. That seems kinda expensive when the kit only cost $149 plus 12.99 for shipping. Did you order the part direct because that would save me a ton of money. The installer siad it would take 4 hours to install in my 04 Max.
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,
Mike
I got mine off Ebay. The system works fairly well but there are times when it doesn't recognize the "Phone" command. I didn't buy the ISO adaptor they sell for our cars and instead cut and spliced into the speaker wires. Works good, When a call comes in it mutes out the music and patches the call through, Then when the call ends it brings back the music. The little ac vent clip is not the best but it does give you access to the screen without turning your head.

As for the Parrot kit itself, I used the top of the line 3200 color - which costs around $200 - avaialble at many sites like http://members.***.net/quickconnect
The 3200 does caller photo ID and lots of other cool things that even factory bluetooth doesn't do.
Thanks for the info, I will order the Parrot from the site you referenced. I emailed the company from the link you provided and they don't sell the system in a retail capacity. They referred me to another company in Richmond, Va who in turn referred my to a local installer.

Glad you are getting a Parrot. I'm sure you will love it.
The Parrot to Nissan Bose adapter is available retail for $149. Order it here: http://members.***.net/quickconnect/ . I should know - I have one and helped with the original design! This makes it a 1 hour install in any 1995+ car or truck with Nissan Bose...

And If I'm trying to sell something, like the services in my signature, I'm blatant about it.
I won't comment any further on this nonsense. I don't make the Parrot kit. It is made in France and sold all over the world. I happen to be an advocate of this technology and have it in my car. I've helped people install their kits on all of the various Nissan forums without any compensaton whatever, since I have a lot of experience with the Parrots. You might say it is my specialty. I DID help design a very specific no-cut interface to the Nissan Bose amp since there were certain incompatibilites. This interface has helped Maxima owners, not harmed them. You guys are obviously so tied up with your "BS meters" trying to sniff out evil, that you want to deny legitimate and well-meaning info to members of this board. I've helped others with bluetooth questions and would continue to offer help if I'm not banned.
Then you should have just come out and said, "hey check out this piece I've created. I feel like if would help out the Nissan community. Is anyone interested in buying one?"
You can become a sponsor and sell your product legitimately via the group deal section. There are plenty of members that are on here that have created products, like Matt Blehm and have done the same. He is making great products and soliciting them the right way.
BTW, I know you didn't create the Parrot. We all know you created the interface. I have no idea why you think we thought you created the Parrot.
If you're interested in selling to members, PM Doug and talk to him about becoming a sponsor. Then post an intro thread, about your product.
This method is way more straightforward than talking about the parrot kit and just happening to mention your product.

Thank YOU for understanding and not escalating this.
I believe Doug's user name is Sprint™
Good luck with your sales.
