full range speakers vs. components
full range speakers vs. components
all other things being equal, do full range speakers put out better bass than components? I already know that components can handle more amp power and produce more detailed sound.
All speakers are theoretically full range, Im assuming your referring to coax/triax/etc? Then it depends on what manufaturers/exact products that your dealing with. "A" set of coaxs may be more detailed and handle more power than "B" set of comps. Its not really a fair comparison, especially being that some comps sets give the ability to be "coaxial/braxial" mounted. Would it then not be a comp set?
Most coaxs still have a crossovers, its just simplified and onboard.
To address your actual question it was already summed up as not being a comparibable situation. Unless like posted above it was along the same or Very close to the same lineup. Although another example could be DA D6 comps, theyll be the same as one set is available as complete seperates, the other one is available as a convertible.
