Alpine Subs

I know these are just baseline subs, but that's all i want just a little upgrade from my sony 6x9's. I just bought 2 alpine type-E 10"s and was wondering if any u guys have heard these? I love JL's and audiobahn's but never heard alpines. Seems dumb to buy somethiing you've not heard i know but $125 for 2 is a good deal for some good subs i think. Gonna push them with a fosgate 400s amp in a Q-logic box. Hope it will sound decent in the back of da max.

I read great comments on crutchfield about them but wanted some "real" feedback. Thanks

They sound pretty good for their price. Pretty accurate and tight. They need lots of airspace and/or polyfill though to maximize their minimal low end extension.
