CD stuck in player

I have a '96 with a Bose single CD player. Tried to eject a CD today and got "CD err" and it wont play or come out. I can't even hear any motor noise inside.
I imagine that this might of been covered before, so I did a search on "CD" in this forum. Nothing. Crap. (When's the search gonna be fixed here?)
Any ideas before it goes to the stereo shop?
