3rd Gen Bose - HU Install

Well the tape deck finally quit playing out of the left channel, and after cleaning it and checking for bad components, I decided I will just put my Pioneer deck in this max. Now, before I haven't used one of those adapters, and although I have never blown the speakers, I would prefer to do it right this time.

I did however have a thought. My Pioneer deck has Front and Rear Unamplified line outputs. (RCA Cables). Could I simply wire these to the line in for the bose amps and not have to worry about an adapter?

Let me know what you guys think.

Not a possibility. Bose Amps = garabage. What's your internal HU amp watt rating(45x4 watts)?? You can probably get a better sound out of that than the bose amp. Trust me on the stock speakers they'll sound good. You do have to bypass the amps. You have to take the door panel off take out the stock speaker find the amp wire, cut, and hook up hu - to speaker - and so forth. OR you can go the hard and easy route and just re-wire the car. Takes like an hour but that way trouble shooting isn't as hard.
