Run new speaker wire from the deck straight to your crossover. Bypass the bose system completely. Disconnect that harness in your door and leave it.

You can't use the original wires. Just run new through the car. You can fit them in your door jamb trims then snake em under the back seat - no need to pull up carpet.

Yea gettin threw the jams is a pain tho. Pullin the wire threw the dash and the front door jams was hard, i dont know if there is a good way to go threw i just took off the boot and pusehd It threw but i still found it difficult. If the carpet is easy to pull up id figure that woudl be a good hiddidng spot for the wires and easier than threw teh doors. Is there wires that go threw the front to the rear doors?

Oh and to answer your question, in a 4th gen, your speakers are in your rear deck, not your rear doors. So you have to pull out your backseat (upper and lower), C pillars, and rear deck to get to them.

I posted that when i got home last night at like 2 AM........well who am i kiddin, i have terrible grammar when im sober. Anyway I knew the rear speakers where in the rear deck but i thought i'd have to hide the wires in the rear doors for some reason? ( I had a ruff night) anyway, ill start rippin stuff apart today and figure it out.

It's not hard to do, the rear speaker wires are easier than the front.

That's very strange. It's a typical screw pattern. Did you try rotating the speaker? They are drilled for different applications.
