enough is enough

BOSE factory radio is driving me up the wall. I remember reading back before about how common it is for the left side to go in and out as far as the speakers. Anyone know about specials on pioneers and I heard a rumor how they have to bypass certain things in order to install the radio or speakers. Just wanted to know if that was true b/c my friend paid out of his @$$ for this and it sounds worse than it did before.

Ok, i seen how many glances you had and no help,

you do need to use an adapter or split the rca's in order for the Aftermarket unit to power the speakers,

and save your money, don't buy anything on special or sale, especially online.
they vary from $100- over $1000.. it depends on what bells and whistles you want..

have someone install it, pay the 150-350 for the install and get a unit with a good s/n ratio..(pioneer-eclipse-kenwood).

my main question I guess would be should I try to get the BOSE radio fixed or should I just buy a different cd player? If I do buy a new (not BOSE) cd player, do they have to bypass a bunch of crap or is it a straight normal install?

except dual and jvc, theyre at around 89 db.

if you stick with bose again, your gonna get the crappy sound again, plus its gonna break again, i say swap and go aftermarket, but keep your oem so when you change cars you can take your aftermarket stuff with you.

As long as Dual is still making product, people will still think they are good.

I'm sorry but what exactly is DUAL is it a maker like Pioneer or are you taking about like dual outputs?
If I was to buy an aftermarket unit would the Pioneer DEH 5800MP or 6800MP be a good choice?

good b/c I have always used pioneer but if there is one that does help the factory bose speakers sound better please lemme know. djfrestyl do you have to pay extra to have the radio put in b/c I heard you have to bypass a bunch of crap? Is this true or are they just trying to get me for my money?

Pioneer would be fine.

No, you don't. Technically they are right, but they are going according to the book. We know that there is a way around it because we understand the Bose system.

If you're in Houston, AscendantMax could probably help you out.
