Successful install of multimedia control unit

Friends,
Today I had no major problems installing the multimedia control timer on the Alpine CVA-1005. I got this from Pacific Coast Audio and it basically defeats the video/parking brake association (you have to be in Park to play video by default.)
I had to hack this because for my computer project I am using the video-in on an AUX channel.
Anyway I wanted you to know, for those considering it, it was less painful than I expected and worked great on try #1.
