How to remove interior of a 4th gen?

Is there a "how-to" for removing the interior of a 4th gen for a sound deadener install? I've searched and searched, to no avail....

Alternatively, if someone wants to just write up some brief instructions, I'm more than happy to get it started and post pictures from when I do it. Thanks!

What area(s) are you trying to deaden? I haven't seen a write up for anything besides a dash or door panels for any generation max...your looking to gut the whole car? Just start ripping stuff out, anything you see. You should get almost everything with a #2 phillips head, a 14mm ratchet, and a panel pulling tool if youve got one.

Yeah, I was going to do a full gut of the internal. It seems like most people agree that you shed a lot of wind/road noise by getting the roof and wheel wells, so I figured the best way to do them was to remove the interior. If it is a 2-3 day project, I would probably pass. But if I could remove everything, deaden, and reinstall in 1/2 or 3/4 of a day, I would do that.

It's a 2 - 3 day project.

YEah, you really don't need a write up...the one thing i recommend is paying attention to the headliner...you can actually remove it two ways really...one is much harder than the other...at least on the 3rd gen. The carpet ..seats...panels...they're pretty easy. Even the dash is easy, just take your time with it. If you have a Digicam or polaroid...i recommend taking pics of the screws that go with certain items..some look very close and you will have a huge amount of of them. Also...technically it's 2-3 days...but can be less really or more... You can gut the panels, carpet, headliner..and leave only the dash and 1 seat...and the cars driveable...you can rip the dash out and put it back in the same day and that's the only "necessary" part to be able to drive the car. It just won't look pretty for a couple days though. This is assuming you are not doing any liquid damping as well....
