My current project is like gregulator's lcd screen installation, except i made mine a touch screen. The lcd screen is hooked up to my laptop (under the seat), and i programmed my own mp3 storage/ player program to run on it. I simply press the "down arrow" for song title and a list of all my songs pops down; i press the song twice and it plays the song..... Volume is adjusted by 2 buttons on the program....Just thought id post.... what do u think?

It replaces my cd player and all the songs are stored as mp3's on my laptop. I simply use the program i made on the touch screen to control the volume and select the song i want to play!

I work for AMX. And our main product is touch panel control systems. Who made the one you got on Ebay? If its ours, I might be able to help you with programming. I am doing the same thing with my max. My particular panel has video input also.
