Hi all,

I opened up my sub box today to confirm the model of my JLAudio subwoofers. After opening them up, I realized there are no model numbers anywhere on the subwoofer itself except for a serial number.

The only distinctive feature of the subwoofers is a silver coloured base. Can someone tell me how I can tell the differences between a W0, W1, W3 and W6?

Thanks in advance.

Henry

The model number is stamped on the bottom of the magnet.

There is no stamp at the bottom of the magnet. There is only a circular JLAudio sticker on the diameter of the base.

W3 and W6 are dual voice coil. If the ones you have are not, then you can rule those too out......

W6's have an extremely large magnet for JL's. Is it a DVC?
