Go check out hte group deal on soundlines in the group deals section. Those will walk all over the kappa's.

Hey nismo, I checked it out and I can imagine that the sound quality on these things is amazing but how is the spl? I like to crank it up from time to time...

BTW I have a JL 300/4 that I am going to bridge to push these...

Happy 10,000 posts for you!!!

Loud and clear.

SPL = sound PRESSURE level....what do you think you're going to get from a front stage?

Any 2 way or 3 way coax will be fine. You just need the rears for fill anyway.

Just get some mid bass for the back or get a set of slc 6.5 coaxials from don at the same time as the components.

Spl = subs, SQ = any speakers. You're looking at a well round speaker here, you won't be dissatisfied but your not going to get any SPL's out of them.

Every sound in the world can be measured in dBs which is a measurement of how loud that sound is or the amount of SPL it produces.

If someone likes to listen to their system at higher volumes its a good idea to see just for much power the drivers will take to get to that desired level (again measured in SPL) or if it can even reach that level at all. Sometime you might have to get a more efficent driver and/or run multiple drivers to achieve you SPL goal. 140dB of subbass is not overly exiting to most poeple without the front stage to keep up with it....now that IS exiting to listen too.
