What sizes are the speakers in the fron and back of a 2003 macima SE? I have a system but the stock speakers do not produce the words of a song over the bass in my car....would I be wrong If i said buying new High's would resolve the problem? and what can be done about rattling besides dynamat....low on fundsss:-(

 

They are 6.5's. As far as the rattles, look at the deadener sticky at the top of the audio page.

 

why thank youuuu....that helps a lot....and by they are 6.5's....do you mean that both the front and rears are both 6.5's? I always thought speakers went by 2 numbers like 5x7's....Sorry im kinda a newbieee

 

Some people have 5x7, 4x6, 6x9 in an oval shape in their cars. In your case, 6.5" circles.

ok thanx guys....my buddy has a lexus IS300 (2001) and he just got bought new speakers.....does anybody know a website or off hand how big the lexus speakers are?

What the hell are you planning on using the stock LEXUS speakers in your car? That would not work.

Get some aftermarket speakers and be done with it.
