Lf Speaker?

Alright so somehow I blew my LeftFront speaker in my 00' w/out bose. My question is this, if I decide to replace these speakers with aftermarket do I need to also make a spacer. It looked like there was minimal space between the back of the speaker and the window when it was rolled all the way down. Please advise.

There are shallow mount speakers thatll fit without a spacer, but most of the time, yes, youll need em. You can either buy plastic ones from Metra or cut your own if youve got a jigsaw.
