Wiring advice RE: circuit breakers

I don't wanna put a bulky 1/0 gauge fuse holder in the engine bay, so I have decided to go the circuit breaker route. So far what I've found are ones that leave the ends of the wiring exposed made by RF/Stinger. Anyone have any suggestions or know where I can get an 80 - 100 amp circuit breaker that would keep the wires covered rather than exposed?

this is the one I speak of in terms of exposed wiring http://i14.ebayimg.com/02/i/07/02/8f/59_1.JPG

There is also this one I found which looks a bit better, however I've never heard of the company

http://cgi.ebay.com/In-Line-100-amp-...QQcmdZViewItem

TIA.

So what makes you think a circuit breaker is going to be any smaller than a fuseholder?

They're not as long, but a little bit wider.

The 1/0 gauge fuse holder is like 8 inches by 2 inches. The circuit breakers are like 2 x 2. MUCH smaller, easier to mount, easier to maneuver.

I don't like the stinger ones because they leave the terminals exposed.

With the number of times you change your mind, 0awg is probably a good idea.

OAwg is way overkill for your single amp setup, it can cause more harm then good.

aside from that anything that will potentially Need 0Awg will draw more than 80-100 amps

buy the fuse holder and save the time. as you upgrade the setup, all you have to replace is a $5 fuse, not a $50 breaker.

There are other options for fuse holders. There are more compact ANL fuse holders and there is also the maxi fuse holders as well. Your overkill 0 gauge decision is taking out a lot of options for you.

2Awg still overkill, but manageable. What is it cheap 0Awg??

No, you said you dont want Stinger.

Those fuse holders in the picture are still very large, I've seen/used them.

Yeah, I have the one from the first link, I guess it came with my stinger hyper kit from Don....It really doesn't fit nicely anywhere under the hood...

best invention ever i have the set and i love it. Built in fuses to the battery terminal no external fuse required. Gonna be hard to find since they dont make them any more though : \

That's pretty nifty. What kind of fuses are those?

....why do you think they stopped making them?

Holy cow! Am I missing something here? Someone said something about a 8" fuse holder??

I have a Stinger ANL fuse holder that's less than 4" x 3", fits 1/0 guage, and has a 150 amp fuse in it.

Are we all talking about the same thing here?

This is similar to the one in the first link that Don provided at the cardomain store.
