CD stuck in CD player..

CD stuck in CD player..

simply stated..my CD got stuck inside my CD player..it doesnt even play the CD..and when switching from Tuner to Standy to CD it doesnt even switch to CD mode...

anybody know of a easy way to get this thing out??

btw heres the info on my Deck...Kenwood Excelon KDC-X790

Yeah My 8017 has done that three times. I finally learned to turn the power off then on again and push eject. Kenwood is known for this problem. I am on my 4th 8017, if it wasnt for the features the 8017 gives i would have booted it to the curb along time ago. Try this and see if it works...good luck bro!!

my 8017 is sitting collecting dust because I got tired of it eating cds. The last one was in there for over a month before I got pissed and pulled the deck, and took it apart to get the disc out.
Maxchef want a spare deck for parts?

try unplugging the battery cables. both the negative and positive. this happened to me once and it worked.

Is there a reset button on the player? Use it and see what happens.

thanx for the advice guys..Imma keep tryin as I see them...I was thinkin bout unplugging the battery terminals but wasnt sure if it would work
