Question about Alpine 9853
Question about Alpine 9853
I was just looking at this radio and it has a feature called "Power IC Off" which is "When an external amplifier is connected and the built-in amplifier is not used, removing power from the built-in amplifier will improve the sound quality." Would that make the radio act if its the BOSE radio? what im tryin to say is the PAC or any hi/low level speaker converter is not need?
No. This will turn the internal amp off totally. Using the preouts to power the Bose amps would make the radio act like the Bose radio.
No adapters are needed anyway. Please read the stickies for more info. Car Audio FAQ, page 2, post by yours truly.
