I'm researching on window modules for my car and saw some that are designed for med-high and low-med current window, anyone know which type the A32 are? I have seen alot of recommendations for the DEI 530T and was wondering if thats the only ones compatible with our cars?

 

Yes, the DEI 530T and DEI 529T are compatible with our Max's. I had the 529T module in my '95 when I had it. All you do is splice the module in between the power window's main wire for up/down (whichever method you choose) and wire the module to the accessary output of the alarm.

 

so what do you press to get the window down? I know you arm it to get the windows up

 

Depends on which module feature you have. The 529T can only power the windows in one direction, either Up or DOWN, depending on which way you choose to wire it up. For the 530T, you can power the windows in both directions...UP and DOWN. Now for the 529T, you can tap into the UP direction in the power window motor and close the windows remotely within the auxiliary channel of the alarm system. You can also wire this to the armed trigger wire of the alarm, and the windows will automatically go up everytime you arm the car (if they happen to be down). This was the method I chose when I had the 529T, since it was most convenient for me. Now for the 530T, you can do the same, except you have more options in remotely controlling the windows (both up and down directions). The only catch, though, is that you must also have more than one auxiliary channel in the alarm system in order for this to work.

 

I currently have the stock alarm that I hold down the unlock to lower windows(fronts only). It has 4 buttons. lock unlock, trunk, and panic. can I wire this so that it lowers the rears by the same way as the fronts?

 

I'd like to know the answer to that question also (I think you could get all 4 to go down by adding a relay to the wire that gets the fronts to go down and then add the rears to that relay, but they'd all go down all the time - no option to only do the fronts any more).

I also want to know if it's possible to add a switch to the center console or to the dash that will open/close all the windows and the sunroof simultaneously with one button. What module/modules would you use to do this?
