Show me your spare tire well enclosures

I've looked through the "show me whats in your trunk" thread quite a few times, but I'm looking for a specific thing: spare tire well enclosures. I think I'm going to take on a project in the near future to build such a setup for my 12w6v2. I have browsed quite a bit online as well, but wanted to keep this Maxima specific.

KLOOGY had a pretty decent setup in his '02 which is kinda what I'm looking for in terms of others' setups.

Thanks in advance guys.

wouldnt you be worried about stuff falling or rolling on top of the subs in this type of setup? or are you gonna use GRILLZ (i hate grills)

Usually those types of enclosures use a grill thats made out of carpet or a piece of carpeted mdf to cover the subs from damage.

Tim, it's alot easier to FG than you think, and you'd save all of the room in the world, my friend. Knowing your capabilties, I am confident you'd have 0 problems.

Thanks Dan. I have worked with it before, but mainly doing body work on a few old cars. I'm assuming it's the same principle, so it may be something I just need to look into a bit more.

It is indeed, my friend. While it does require a little bit more work that just throwing a box together, it is the MOST efficent way of putting a real sub in the trunk. Lemme know if there is anything I can help you with!

No, but the previous owner of it was one of the first. My setup hit harder that most you will ever hear in person. I had a cover for it too, which hid and protected the speakers. Not bad for a crappy 138 dbs, and full trunk usage.
