HELP!@## CD err message

HELP!@## CD err message

my stock cd player doesnt work and when i took it out to check all the wiring, i found three plugs, two which sees to be al ok but one which had only grey wires on wasnt plugged. it was to short to be plugged-in and it didnt fit inside the plug. i also found this off the net to help me out:

ok so since i dont know sh*t and giggles about sound system, wat the hell is a resistor? can anyone help plz?

did I say anything bad? when i try inserting a cd, it wont take it and usually when i listen to the radio, after a while i tries to read a cd and then says cd err.

^ Sounds about right. There's a place online that can fix it for about the same price. My Bose did the same things... Waited for the 2006 Alpine HU's to come out and then ripped it out. My Bose would even emit a long beep sometimes, which wouldn't stop unless I turned the car off, possibly due to the antitheft. Good luck with a repair, though.

I have found alot of 4th gen ose systems on ebay ranging from 40-100$
