Hey guys. Let me start of with my Thursday morning story. I woke up late to go to work and here I go out in a rush. I had so much crap in my hands and a coffee mug. I open my trunk and like a dumb *** I accidently pour coffee on top of my amp. I ran inside to get some rags to clean it up. At first I though it only poured on top and not inside, but yet I decided not to turn it on just in case. Anyways I go to work and after work I turned it on and nothing came out from my subs. My amp wouldn't go on. Finaly I get home and noticed there was some coffee stains on the post were the ground, power, and remote connect. I cleaned it up with alcohol swabs and left it alone all night so it can dry. The next day, (Friday) I go to work and my amp went on. I went out that same night and my amp was working good. Saturday night I went out again and damm thing didnt go on. So finaly I opened the amp and cleaned more. I then connected everything back and the amp went on. It was hitting the subs, but when I turned my ignition key to start the car the damm thing went off and it wont go on again. I called Phoenix gold and they are charging me $135.00 to fix plus I have to wait almost a month to get it back. So my question is how can I get this fixed or where can u guys recommend for me to take to. I dont want to wait a month for my amp to get repaired. I live in Houston area so if you guys can please recommend a good place where I can take my amp I would appreciate it. Any suggestions? I hope I made sense.
You can try to call these guys based out of Austin. I've referred a few people to them to get their amps fixed with really good results . . .

In Houston, you can try going to CarTek Auto Sounds on Normandy, or Future Concepts on Bellaire. You can see if they have a place locally that they know of that does repairs.
