wire plucking (e-blue)

Maybe it’s just me, maybe its not. I am trying to remove some of the wires from in the harness of the E-Manage blue, but was unsuccessful. It wasn’t as easy and tugging on the wires and they pop out. Does anyone know how I can pull these wires out, I will need to add/remove so that I can get extra functionality from my . . . non rev-limiter adjusting, can only data log timing. E-manage . . .blue

Thanks.

Pics would help a bit. Where are you pulling them out of?

You can usually use a pick tool and stick it into the connector from the back side. Youll have to compress the metal part that sticks up and holds the wire in.

Here is a picture to get a better idea of what I'm trying to do. Trying to remove the wires from the back of the harness. I will need to remove and add. I assume the process is relatively the same.

I search around for a pick tool. I did a couple google/yahoo searches and didnt pop up much on a pick tool. Does it go by a different name? or do you have a pic of one or know where I can get one.

After speaking with greddy I can add wires into the harness and they will work fine. Good way to save and have the extra options of logging fuel and timing.

You can get a set of 4 different picks from Sears for like 7.99

One's straight, one's a right angle, another is a hook, and the other is just, offset and weird shaped.
