Canon 28-135mm. It's going to be my "walk around" lens. Haven't really shot with it yet (besides that pic of the rose) since I've been hella busy with school.

28-135, great lens!!

You should look into the Canon 10-22 if you are looking for a wide angle lens. Thats what I used for my sig pic.

Hmmm, sounds like what my camera bag will look like. I'm looking to get a 70-200 2.8L and a Canon 480EX flash. Once those two are in, my Lowepro backpack will be done!!

How is that 50 f1.4?

i like it. it's a nice little lens. if you're looking to get a 50mm, i would just get the 1.4 instead of the 1.8 IMO, even though there's like a 215-230 dollar price difference. the build quality is much better, and feels more solid.

yeah my backpack is almost done too, still need a few things here and there.

Not quite as expensive as you may think. This lens is less then $500. The 70-200 we were mentioning costs >$1000.

Try not putting that much angle in the pic. Put the camera more towards the center of the cabin, use a lower F-stop (3.5 if possible) and manual focus to blur out background more.

If thats the case, try getting a little lower?

First pic, you could pull that off during sunset or if theres a nice backdrop.
Second pic, to much dead space. If the car is the subject, it's not drawing my eyes to it.

nah, he doesn't understand what the f3.5 means.

don, a lower f-stop will help create a blurred background, as with that rose pic i took in the first page of this thread.

Hmmm perhaps some trades? You do know that is much more than just an EQ right? The EQ portion is just a perk of the unit.
