MICROVISION screen? PIC? HELP?

I want to go and buy a screen, and connect a dvd player to it..... how much is the 7 inch screen.. and dont flame i know it was repeated more then once... but whats the cheapest price, best setup? how does it plug into a deck? speakers?

And also I wanted to keep my deck, and then seperately connect the tv, but my deck doesnt read dvds, so what do i have to do to have the screen play sounds, (after I connect a dvd or ps2 to it)?give me some advice! =]

Maybe it's just me, but it drives me positively bugs'hit when members ask for a detailed answer but don't bother taking an additional 30 godd'amn seconds to review punctuation or spelling.

How many responses do you expect to get in only 35 minutes time, not to mention late at night. Your time could also be well invested into searching rather than waiting.

the microvision screens are ~$150, iirc. then get a stand alone DVD player and throw it in your glove box, or you could sell your current HU and get an all-in one unit. Just make sure it isnt the JVC one, its awful. the Pioneer DVH-series would be a great choice.

If you decide to get a separate dvd player, make sure your current HU has aux inputs, or you could go FM transmitter, but thats cheese-ball and the quality of sound would be crap.

........

But after doing the whole process myself, with the amount you're gonna spend total (dvd player, screen, HU for music combo, or pioneer dvd player HU + screen combo), you might as well just spend a few more hundred and buy an older Eclipse AVN, or the IVA-W200, or D100, D310, etc. The quality of picture is much better, and its much less of a pain in the @ss, and they're touch screen, which EVERYONE is going to ask for if they sit in your car and see a screen, trust me.

Oh and I'm sure Don meant search google. we know you cant search the org forums...
