My friend's install...

I know it's not a maxima, but hell I figured there's enough of us that's in here that appreciates a clean install. This is his G35C, loaded with Boston Acoustics gear (I had no part in his decision )

Anyhow, the work was done at Innovative Rides here in Houston, probably the only shop I would take my car to if I needed custom work...now on with the pics!

Equipment:
Alpine IVA-D310
Boston Acoustics Z6 components
Boston Acoustics GT-28 amplifiers x2
Boston Acoustics GT-42 amplifier (no picture yet)
Boston Acoustics G5 subwoofers x2

few more...

The sub's basket was painted to match the car, and the spokes matches the color of his wheels. He took home first in his class at Hot Import Nights in Dallas a few weeks ago.

Personally, its hideous. Its a shame someone would disgrace the exterior of a G like that. No matter how nice of an interior, that exterior is by far the worst G Ive ever seen.

I can appreciate the work that went into the trunk, doors and pillars, but who would do all that work and leave a piece missing at the passenger door handle?

The install is steller. i think that is a great looking set up. i am over the blue wheels. I know everyone has their own style but when you have a 30k+ car you don't put blue wheels on it. No to mention nothing else on the car is blue. As his friend you should let him know that the wheels cheapin his car and take away from a great install.

yeah, the rims aren't my cup of tea either, but eh...as long as he likes them.

i'm pretty sure he knows my position on his choice of rim color heh.

I am sure the rims themselves are awsome in person but they just don't fit with the theme of the car. Pearl car with a bunch of CF then the trunk is modeled after the interior. Just don't see where they fit into the scheme. But that is one of the better planned and executed trunk installs I have seen in a long time. Now that fits the G!!!!

Nice install.

2nd pic with the half black rear makes it look SORT OF like a lambo.

Wow! That trunk setup is one of the nicest I've seen. Very well done. Not a fan of the blue wheels and the unpainted CF, but to each's own.

I do love the style of the rims, do you know if they are the Works or the Professors?

that car looks awesome.
the rims are a bit different but i like that this 35 doesnt look like all the rest of them. i think the black body trim (or is it cf? couldnt tell) really makes this car..but by far my favorite part is the trunk setup. sooooooooo clean
